Milena Govich

 

Milena Govich, a Serbian actor, director and singer, was born October 29th the year 1976. Her most famous work is for her part in the role of NYPD Detective Nina Cassady in Law & Order.



 



 Education and early life



 Govich was born in Norman, Cleveland County, Oklahoma. Her parents, Dr. Bruce Michael Govich, who died in 1998, and Dr. Marilyn Green Govich,[2] are music professors: Bruce worked at University of Oklahoma and Marilyn is currently teaching voice at the University of Central Oklahoma. Her mother is English-speaker and her father is Serbian. Milica Govich Her aunt, who is also an actor and has appeared on Broadway as well as on television as well as in films.



 



 Milena was a graduate of Norman High School in 1995 as valedictorian in her class. Following her academic parents, she graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1995 as valedictorian. She was awarded a double-degree, in performance and premedical studies, with the option of a minor in violin as well as dance. Govich at the time of her graduation made the move to New York City in pursuit of an acting career.
